Indoor Summer Sports Camp
Sarasota Memorial’s Healthplex Fitness Center will provide indoor summer sports camps for youth (age 7-12) each week, June 11-Aug. 10. Camps run 9am-4 pm (early drop off and late pick-up available) and include all indoor sports, including swimming, basketball, wiffle ball, dodge ball, soccer, kickball, volleyball and more. Sign up for one week or all nine. Cost is $109/week for members (non-members also welcome). Space is limited. All camps are held at Healthplex, 5880 Rand Blvd., Sarasota (approximately ½ mile west of I-75 off Clark Road). Call (941) 917-7000 for information.

National Cancer Survivors Day
Sarasota Memorial is proud to co-present National Cancer Survivors Day – “Celebrate the Music of Life,”
2-4 pm Sunday, June 3, at Michael’s on East, Midtown Plaza, 1212 East Ave., Sarasota. This event is part of an
annual celebration of life held in hundreds of communities throughout the United States, Canada and around the world. The Sarasota event is free and open to all cancer survivors and one guest. Seating is limited. Please register: (941) 917-7777.

New Breastfeeding Support Group – North Port 
A free weekly support group facilitated by a certified lactation consultant who supports nursing mothers through any breastfeeding challenges, meets
every Tuesday 10-11:30 am, in the conference room at

Stroke is the No. 3 cause of death in the United States, behind heart disease and cancer. Taking steps to reduce your risk factors is your best protection to prevent a stroke or recurrence. Sarasota Memorial’s Stroke Education & Support Group provides a friendly and informative forum for stroke survivors and their families to stay informed. The group meets the

Medicare Enrollment Help
Sarasota Memorial and SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) are providing Medicare beneficiaries a place to get free objective help comparing plans and obtaining the best health and prescription coverage to meet their needs. Specially trained SHINE volunteers will provide free information and assistance noon to
