Urologic Health – Free Lecture Series
Sarasota Memorial Urologists will present a free lecture series on urologic health issues in men and women starting this month.
Lectures will take place 4:30-5:30 pm in Sarasota Memorial’s first floor auditorium, 1700 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. A brief Q & A will follow each presentation. RSVP required: (941) 917-7777.

Cardiopulmonary Health Series
Sarasota Memorial’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Team is celebrating American Heart Month with a free education series Feb. 10-14 that includes cooking demonstrations, movie screenings, grocery store tours, physician lectures, cardiac risk factor assessments and more.

Power-Up Families! Walking Program
Families of all ages are invited to join Sarasota Memorial HealthSquare’s free mall-walking & wellness program at Westfield Sarasota Square.

Participants receive pedometers and journals to log their walks, followed by wellness talks, every Saturday through March 8. Walks begin at 9:30 am, followed by wellness talks at 10 am.

Black History Month Activities
Sarasota Memorial will celebrate Black History Month in February with a series of free events open to the public.

Activities include:
• Arts & Gifts Bazaar, 8am to 3:30pm, Thursday, Feb. 6 and Friday, Feb. 7 in the hospital’s 4A&B Conference Rooms on the fourth floor.
• “Culture Cuisine” meals every Wednesday in February, prepared by Sarasota Memorial’s Food & Nutrition/Windows Cafe staff.
• Induction of this year’s honorees into the Sarasota Memorial’s Black History Month Hall of Fame, 6 pm Friday, Feb. 28 in the hospital’s first floor auditorium.

Spring Break Fitness & Fun
HealthFit’s Spring Kids Camp is ready to brighten their days with healthy, safe and fun kid-style fitness activities.

Sign up for one day or one week. All campers receive a FREE hour of group personal training daily with one of our HealthFit certified trainers, while also enjoying swimming, wiffleball, basketball, dodgeball, soccer, and kickball. Camp fees include lunch and snack daily.
