Star Cancer Rehabilitation
On Saturday, Dec. 6, Sarasota Memorial will host a free event, Survive Cancer Better with STAR Cancer Rehabilitation, at the Institute for Advanced Medicine and HealthFit, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

As the region’s first STAR Certified Program for Cancer Rehabilitation, Sarasota Memorial can provide individualized care for cancer survivors who may be suffering from an array of treatment side effects. The STAR program focuses on improving their symptoms and quality of life so they can survive cancer better.

The event offers a great introduction to our STAR program, with engaging speakers and a panel of STAR experts. There’s also an interactive section, where attendees can visit information stations, get free health screenings, and talk one-on-one with Sarasota Memorial specialists about their rehabilitation goals. For information, visit or call Sarasota Memorial's HealthLine at (941) 917-7777.
