Gastrointestinal/Oncology Surgery

About 250,000 people are diagnosed each year with cancer of the digestive (gastrointestinal) system -- including cancers of the esophagus, pancreas,  gallbladder, liver, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon) and rectum.

Sarasota Memorial is one of few medical centers in the United States with a multi-disciplinary cancer team experienced at performing complex and minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal cancers and conditions.

Our board-certified physicians offer a collaborative and personalized approach to provide the safest, least invasive and most effective treatments available.
